I had a lot of fun doing our First Day video assignment for Technology for Teachers. I really liked that it was a fun way for everyone to be able to share whatever they wanted to with the class without having to actually get in front of everyone. That was also one of the downfalls of the videos because I was a little nervous about what people would think of my video. I think once everyone's videos had been watched though, it made everyone feel better that we all did about the same thing. Once we get used to the idea of people watching videos or seeing pictures of us instead of in person, I think it will be a lot less nerve wracking. I really liked the fact that everyone could show you what they cared about or who was important to them. I think the hardest part of doing this assignment was getting over any self consciousness and just being myself. I also find it really hard to have anything to say when I am trying to make a video but hopefully that will get better. I have to say that my favorite part of the whole assignment was getting to watch everyone else's videos and see them in their personal environment.
